All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

Yes!! I'm a Vice President at Rebel and I actually do all the photography and marketing/ad design for Rebel Athletic. Our Creative Director of Design, Kristen Ashworth, designed the uniform you see Jamie Andries wearing for MT Reign to wear at 2014 Worlds. They had never been sponsored before so we offered to sponsor them and do a uniform for them. I photographed Jamie in that uniform the same day I photographed Bianca Tregor in the CA Junglecats uniform-- weeks before worlds. The version of the uniform they actually wore at worlds was a simplified version of our uniform, produced by GK Elite who ended up extending a sponsorship offer to them after we did. The decision they made to wear the GK version and not the Rebel version (which was much more intricate and technical and featured a LOT more crystal) was due to their long standing relationship with GK. We have really loyal customers too, so we can appreciate their vendor loyalty. Since they didn't wear the uniform and it was such a gorgeous and classic design, it is now part of our Purple Label Collection of uniforms. It's actually one of our best sellers! Any gym can order the Rebel version of that uniform with a full crystal fill front logo, a large over-the-cutout applique with a dense crystal fill, and a large skirt applique-- plus ALL the accent and burst crystaling you see-- for $299.00

I actually posted on this back in April when the rumor mills were running about GA Allstars.. That uniform was a sponsorship uniform, but I did post information about the retail value. It's no where near $1500

Can someone please post this catalog picture you're talking about? The Rebel version of this uniform was designed, prototyped and photographed BEFORE the GK version was worn at Worlds. Kristen Ashworth from Rebel designed it. It features crystal raindrops inspired by raindrops dripping down a window (crystals in a row that vary in size) -- as far as we know this look has never been done?

Just saw these on Twitter.... they remind me of Univ. of Texas' uniforms. Except these will definitely put WVU at risk of being sued by a Native American Organization.

I'm probably incredibly biased, but I like them! But, then again I don't think it is possible for me to hate anything that involves WVU and cheerleading. So my opinion is probably not popular.

There is a high school here in SC... Gaffney High School and their mascot is the "indians"....so they have an indian themed cheer uniforms.

If I weren't at work I'd have the time to find a picture of them

Haha, they really fit in with the school and the state and they match the mascot's outfit really well also. Although it's not really supposed to be Indian/Native American, but more of the hunting/Mountaineer (the mascot) kind of direction. The "buckskins" is something that has been associated with the school/mascot forever and I really like seeing it on the uniform. So I guess it's more of a tradition that only people that go/went to the school would understand.

Kind of reminds me of a high school team in GA (gwinnett?) that got black and metallic gold gladiator "uniforms" (i.e. costumes) b/c their mascot is a gladiator. I liked the creativity, but I prefer a more tradition uniform.
