Cp had her navel pierced in December when she was recovering from shoulder surgery. Given the nature of the cheer season, that was the only time she could without having to remove it too soon for comps. My question is what do people do at competitions? It will be almost a year at their first competition this season, but is there a spacer like thing or do you just take it out before and put it back on after? I don't suppose a bandaid would work? She does that for practice.

My team had a pill case that we would all put our piercings in before we took the floor! lol Also for my first comp with mine it was still fairly new so i got a clear plastic piercing. after a year your okay to take it out before warm ups and put it back in right after you compete.. longest i had mine out was 2h and was fine. I know a team got a deduction for having a band-aid over it.
Another note people with full tops, do you bother to take it out??

One competition I didn't while wearing a full top, but we were told any jewelry (even a yarn bracelet) that was seen would get us disqualified. Not okay

That makes me feel much better. I was envisioning one single pill bottle with everyone just tossing body jewelry in willy nilly and then digging through them all with their dirty hands to find theirs at the end.

haha yea that would be very gross! i should have specified! it was pretty smart because it was a sm.co-ed team so there were a perfect amount of spaces for everyone with piercings also kept them from getting lost in bags...

I wish Stingrays put their signature symbol :rays:eek:n the back of their new uniform. It makes their uni so iconic and I like that. Putting team name on uni is not quite fit to their style, in my opinion.
that was what was missing! i was trying to figure out what seemed off about it besides the Rays lettering

in sweden the youth teams and the juniors have been forced to wear full tops for quite a few years now and they look nothing like these like there is not full stomage mesh or breaking up the tops so that the uni looks like you wear a crop over some fabric. they look good actually. i dont have any pictures though.. sorry. but @youbetterwork have some posted so check her out.
Tried to find some quick. I could maybe have found better examples but yeah, I don't see why people use stomach mesh. No need for that!
