TOTALLY USELESS. Could not even read the article because I could not get the "Follow Them" boxes to close without "following them". Feeling like this article was just a "trap" for these athletes to get even more followers. This is supposed to be a team sport. So tired of the media/parents/gyms/coaches promoting individual athletes who, without their teammates, would not be where they are today.

And the cheerlebrity craze escapes our enigmatic cult. Someone please make it stop.
I had only heard of a few of them. Took a picture of a friend with a cheerleader a few years ago and it wasn't until a day or two later I learned she was a cheerleb. #badcheerparent

*Of course it is good advice, I'm Cheer Dad*

I respect all of them and the outfits were cute, but I don't see the point of them being in Glamour. They aren't known outside of the cheer world (and of course, the article had to open with a line talking about how beautiful and instafamous they are). It irritates me that these girls are so skilled and hardworking, and yet the only way Glamour can get people to pay attention to them is by mentioning the most superficial things (yes, they did mention athleticism and one of the girls was in a heel stretch, but the bulk of the article was about fashion).

And to that last commenter: honey, you CHOSE to feel inferior. Stop blaming others for it. (She might have been using sarcasm, but still.)

ETA: I'm not as irritated as my response makes me sound.

I guess I just don't get it. Why is this a thing? Is it because of the Instagram following these girls have? The clothes were cute but not exactly trend setting if they were trying to play up that angle. Nothing you wouldn't see at any high school or mall around here.

For some reason I suspect that there other all star Cheerleaders out there that might be more fashionable than the cheerlebs. It's so ridiculous - they aren't even known for wearing anything other than their uniforms and Nike pros, w/ their hair in crazy cheer hair or pony tails. How can they even be fashionable? So silly.

Not positive or negative. I would consider this an article. There is one paragraph consisting of three sentences. Then under each girls' photo a couple more sentences about their clothing style.

ETA:
Oops. I just noticed my typo. I meant to say I would NOT consider this an article. I will leave my mistake as is but just wanted to clarify. It's just too short to be a true article. I don't see the point of putting it in the magazine either.

Yes. This was purely about tying in this woman's previous article about Cheerleaders on Instagram into a fall article about fashion.

They're cute outfits, but nothing super fashion forward. Basic teen wear. The funny part is you can tell which part of the country the girls are from based on the outfits posted lol.
