It's a few pages back but here is my issue with some of these uniforms. It's really not about the whole "sexualization" for me, a predator targets regardless of what a child or women is wearing...period. For me it's all about trying to make this "activity" a "sport". When the women's team won the world cup...does anyone remember the team they beat? No probably not but I bet you remember Brandi Chastain ripping her shirt off and collapsing in the middle of the field in her sports bra. ESPN lit up like a Christmas tree after she did that and it was all talk about how it made women's soccer look bad.
Now think of cheer. Do you really think that it will ever be taken seriously when we have uniforms that look like Vegas costumes with hair and makeup that stepped out of Toddlers and Tiaras?
One time I showed a friend a picture of my cp in her cheer uniform (crop top) and the first thing she said was "Umm you think she's showing a little skin there MOM?" It wouldn't have mattered if I followed it with a video of my cp doing a double full, her initial opinion of cheer was "scantily clad children with to much makeup".

My roommate bought me a pair of sweats with the word "Vicious" on the butt.. I only wear them around the house and would never go out in public with them on haha

I liked the White one (Sharks) but the black and blue one, no thanks! I don't like shiny material at all.

I really enjoy this!

I'm a sucker for a TG uni. Maybe it's the matching shoes? Or maybe it's because this IS TG style and they make it look good? Not everyone can get away with it. I think my daughter's restricted 5 would look ridiculous but TG.. It looks perfect. Does that make sense?

I'm still confused on why everyone feels they HAVE to use mesh....it's an option people. You can still have an amazing uniform w/o it. Just because you CAN use it, doesn't mean you HAVE to.

i almost wish they would have rules on what is acceptable and what is not, like the now implemented full top rule. like i love the innovative of say top gun, and both CA. but to be harsh some of these are just plain ugly. like i dont know how the gym with the purple uniform above, thought yeah these look pretty, like no. but im also not a big fan of some of the chosen gym colors people chose for their programs, so its kind of un avoidable for me, anything overly purple, or pink is just an automatic no for me. personally ive never hated a top gun uniform, even though some people have. but yeah.
