Okay so business professional/business casual. Yes or no?

May I make a suggestion?

If you don't mind wearing dresses, get a wrap dress. They're flattering on just about everyone and look professional while also a more casual choice. My favourite is a dark woolen one from Zara but I reckon H&M and other places like it are bound to have some. The good thing about them is that you can dress them up or down with a variety of accessories, blazers, cardigans... You name it.

If you don't like dresses and would rather wear trousers, I'd opt for a darker shade as they look less casual. I like the top in the second pic!

Those questions never end, they just change form. Where are you going? What are you majoring in? When will you graduate? Where will you work? When are you getting married? When are you having kids? Never ending...
Preach!

This year I played "Take a drink every time someone is condescending to me." My sister's boyfriend thought it was hilarious, my grandma did not [emoji28]

Gosh I'd be permanently drunk!

Yes this is great advice! I want to add about the question... If you ask the interviewer "How did you get to this position?" In my experience, people like that... And people love to talk about themselves. Also do your research on the company! Check out the website and find something they do that you like. At my interview I mentioned a rebranding project the company had done a few years before and they were impressed that I knew about it. So do your homework and impress them!

Yes, that's a great question to ask. They also like "What are the top 3 or 5 qualities you are looking for in the person who will fulfill this position?" and "What do you expect out of the person who will fulfill this position in the first 30 days of work? 60? 90? First year?" From here, you can kind of peak into their brains and see who exactly they are looking for. And you can also rework your answers to their questions to show you are the person they're looking for. Interviewing is a bit of a game and you gotta play to win. The more you know about what they're looking for, the better position you'll be in. Good luck!

Thank you! Yes I'm open to all suggestions. I don't really own many business type outfits and my interviews are tomorrow so this was just a quick find at my local tj maxx. I really hate light pants. But everything else was legging type and I know that's not appropriate so these were my best bet.

You could try a skirt also. You will need to wear hosiery and proper shoes. It looks more polished.

I'm almost positive it's going to be snowing tomorrow so I'm gonna stay with the pants. I bought a cute pair of flats. But I think I'll be wearing my boots and changing in my car because the weather is not on my side from the looks of it right now. Thank you for the advice though!

So I'm irritated because under a HS comp video on Twitter, some girl commented "that's not HS cheer, that's HS cheer trying to be competitive". GIVE. ME. A. BREAK.

Some people REALLY need to educate themselves on cheer history.

I am at a point in my life where i need to make a decision about where my life is supposed to go career wise and i feel really confused and lost right now. I always thought i was going to be a teacher, but there are basically no jobs in that field with the subjects i study , now i am looking into something i always wanted to do but never really followed through because applying for college was just easier. I could still do it i think but i don't know if i'm too old or good enough and also if i do that i will be done with cheer for good as the job won't leave any time for it and i can't wrap my head around that yet. There is so much anxiety and crazyness going on in my head right now and i can't really talk to anyone. Not a good day today at all. Sorry for the rant

What is your second option? And could you possibly go for a teaching job in a different field? Or what about a different country?
