OT New Random Thread Pt. 3

So tonight was supposed to be my 21st birthday party and half of the group going bailed... We all went to another town today and went horseback riding except I was in the morning group so we got back to town around five and they just got back at nine and we were supposed to go at 10. They all said they feel bad about it but right now I'm just upset. They knew they would be getting back this late yet they all said they would go and now theres only like five of us going instead of 10 so I feel stupid getting all dressed up now

@Alexx, Whaaat? You have 5 people who want to celebrate your 21 years existence on this cold, cruel world and you are upset that 5 others bailed out on you!...Hey, I turned 50 and not 1 person celebrated, I stayed home slept and worst, I lost my identity and precious name in 50 short years on this fancy website...

PS: Take those 5 people and enjoy your 21st birth years...
PS2: I should have been more forthcoming, my birthday is a week after Christmas, so my husband and family picked a nice hot day in August, usually August 15th to celebrate my birthday...

Well it ended up only being four of us and its currently 12:51 and Im currently sitting in my room alone because they didn't want to stay out. I just feel like crap because they went all out for another friends 20th last weekend.

Oh Alex, I'm sorry. People are rubbish sometimes. At least you did all the daytime stuff! I've never had a very well attended birthday cause of the awkward time of year it falls, so I know how you feel. Hopefully the bailers apologise tomorrow. Sending hugs.

That sucks. It's okay though at least you went out and did something! Mine is next Sunday and I probably won't be doing anything because it's a Sunday and I'll have to work the next morning and I have no friends. My boyfriend is 23 so we could go to a club or something but he lost his id so definitely not going out. But enjoy! Don't let anyone else ruin your birthday girl!

Thanks guys! They all kept saying they were tired. I've gotten maybe 9 hours of sleep over the past two nights. I get that everyone needs different amount of sleep but it still sucks. If we would have spent 5 more minutes at the club we were at I would have ran into another friend and stayed with his friends. He texted me happy birthday and I mentioned that it wasn't very happy since it was around 12:30 and I was sitting alone in my room but the club he was at closed around 1 and with that went his wifi. The whole no phone thing here sucks. And my birthday is technically Sunday but I figured nobody would want to go out since its Sunday night but apparently nobody wanted to go out on Saturday night either. A bunch of us are going to an American diner here for brunch tomorrow though as a "sorry we were too tired to go to your party" thing though so I'm pretty excited about that haha.

I hope that your actual birthday is lovely and special.

My birthday falls on Easter quite often so this happens to me a lot as well. Friends are too busy or they do make plans and then cancel last minute. I think being with family is more important to be honest. Friends can come and go but family is usually there for you way more often.

My birthday always falls super close to Thanksgiving so I know the feeling too...

Also, I just binge-watched the entire season Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt today. It was really good, I definitely recommend it.

I have a Netflix addiction lol I've never heard of that show though. I found Hawaii 5-0 up to season 4 and I only started watching last year so I'm getting caught up! Love being able to have Netflix canada and USA. Yay for IP blockers!

It's a Netflix only show, like Orange is the New Black, but it just premiered yesterday. I saw a friend mention it on facebook and tried it out and obviously really liked it!

Haha my birthday was actually today and I got to go visit my friend on Long Island. Her, our other friend, then two of their friends from home and I went to NYC and even if we didn't have any plans it was fun just wandering around my feet are killing me now. I'm too old for this.

@Alexx sorry to hear that your bday celebration wasn't what you had hoped. Not every birthday is going to be like that though. I've definitely had my share of crappy birthdays, especially since mine falls near St.Patricks day event and we always ended up doing those things instead of what I would've liked to do.

You will see some great teams, although Fall states have more competitive teams since a lot of all star kids only do Fall high school cheer.
