No I know you like to pick apart things so I'll answer. No spirit isn't our only competition it was an example I used for you earlier. Woodlands elite, Allstar Revolution, prodigy and even pinnacle a small gym around the corner all have great lower level teams that could hold a match to us any day of the week.. So no unfortunately I don't think we are better than all of them. Thanks for reading into that response.

I don't devalue a program if they don't attend big competitions. I would not be happy if Vipers didn't attend big comps. But if you don't want to go to big comps than that's on you. I don't think any less of you and I don't really care because I wouldn't be attending your gym..

No I don't think a program without a worlds team gets to claim they are the best of the best. I also don't think a program with a worlds team who has terrible lower levels should be able to claim they are the best of the best.

And yes i generally do think Vipers are the greatest thing since sliced bread but I would just come out and say it if all the stuff that you THOUGHT I was implying ... If I was actually implying it. I wouldn't beat around the bush. Thanks for reading my reply though.

Thanks for the reply. Just sounded odd when you singled out 1 gym instead of just a general "lots of competition" which got me to thinking and as you pointed out sometimes I like to pick things apart so they make sense to me.

I picked spirit of Texas originally because they are my favorite Texas gym besides Vipers! Their teams all look incredible!! And their parents and kids are top notch! I have so much respect for that whole program. So they were definitely the top of my list for examples!!

Also our owners and coaches are friends and they come to our gym and help us with jump classes, and their coach did our music, I think another came and helped with something else one time ... So it's just really cool the respect both programs have for each other!

Let's throw out numbers to guess, and see if anyone can confirm.

My guess is 5K-7K. 1-3 uniforms, custom warmups, travelling 3-5 times for comps, blingy practice wear, matching outerwear, tuition, privates, jump classes....

At least that.

I think it's a bit silly to say that if a gym doesn't have a worlds team they can't be the best of the best or if a gym has an amazing worlds team but not as amazing 1-4 teams that the program can't claim they are the best of best.

So gyms that have really good teams but no level 5 is not good? Is that what you're insinuating? Lol wow ..interesting.

I've always joked that it's cheaper than rehab (keep them too busy and too tired to get into any trouble). So far so good.

If you are talking about me I got the impression from others that Vipers or any program without a worlds team can't claim they are the best of the best because even though they go to big competitions they are in split divisions.. And there is no competitions that everyone goes to since some opt not to go to summit so there is no way we or any other program without a worlds team can say they are the best since we don't go to worlds

So if I have to agree with them on that than I feel the same thing could work both ways.. Yeah you won worlds but your lower levels consistently don't place well so can you say your the best of the best??

So I'm only counter arguing them if a non worlds team gym can't be the best than neither can a worlds team that is the only thing good at their program.

She didn't say stars are the best, she answered a question I asked about if a program needs worlds teams to claim they are the best
