With my team we have a strength and conditioning coach for the girls. He volunteers his time with us and we are beyond lucky to have him. He is a certified personal trainer, and he conditions the girls twice a week, aside from the conditioning that i do with them. He takes them into the weight room, has them run as a team, carrying a weighted rope and yelling their cheer, but he also does fun conditioning with them like playing tag, or games that make them run, jump, climb, things like that so that they don't focus on the workout so much, but they are still getting it in. Aside from his practices the girls also run a mile everyday and once a week they run 2 miles. We have practice 5 times a week in the summer, with 2 of those days being the big conditioning days. However, the other 3 days they are also doing a workout regimen with me. During practice they are not allowed to have any unhealthy food or drink, or it results in a demerit. We are hoping that it will help steer the girls into more healthy habits.

Edit to add: Please excuse my grammar. It's 12:20am. lol.
