Hi Steppa. It depends on how well the iPhone version does and if enough people want an Android version, because I'd have to pay someone to develop the Android version (since I can't code apps - I just do the designing).
If you want me to add you to an email list for notifications, just send me...
Hi all,
Corey the (retiring) KU cheer coach, and the creator of Cheermoji and MixPlay. Thanks so much for the bug report -- I just sent it to my developer (I didn't code the app) so hopefully he can get the fix done soon (the bad part is that when I submit a new build to the App Store, it...
We have enough people to cheer the game and compete nationals (which is what we've always done in the past, and will continue to do in the future), but unfortunately the game over nationals this year is vs. top-10-ranked Oklahoma State, with a hugely hyped Andrew Wiggins (our #1 bball recruit)...
Sorry I haven't been on the board in awhile, but I do feel inclined to post on this one! ;) KU placed 6th in UCA Large Coed in 2013 and top 10 for the past 6 years or so, plus strong academics, a great campus and town, and the best basketball games in the country! Okay, spiel over - haha - but...
Our crowd video that Scott's referring to is at:
KU Cheer Crowd Video for 2013 UCA Nationals | Facebook
Not sure if that link will work -- if not, just go to KU Cheerleading - Lawrence, KS - School Sports Team | Facebook and click "Videos" and it's the first video.
I definitely agree on the...
Hi all,
Our cheer skills clinics are targeted toward high schoolers but open to all ages. Taught by the KU cheerleaders and coaches, the clinics focus mainly on coed stunting with the KU cheerleaders (ie, you don't need to bring a partner), plus some tumbling and usually a few other things that...
Haha - thanks for the plug, as always, Scott! For KU, I have an interest form at: Info for cheerleaders considering cheering at the University of Kansas
Look us up! :)
Thanks
Yup - we have two back-to-back 4-hour clinics on Nov 3rd and 4th -- people can attend one or both, $50 each. Lots of coed stunting with the KU cheerleaders, plus some tumbling and a bit of other college-prep work (though the clinics are open to all ages -- not just seniors). Details and...
>>Its hard to believe UK is at the bottom of some's prospective college cheer list.
Well it's good to be realistic -- if making your college's squad is a deciding factor in choosing a college, it's important to know your chances of making the squad.
Hi WorkToWin. We get a wide range of skills at the clinics -- from people (guys and girls) who've never stunted before to girls throwing bhs full-ups with our guys. I talk through some basic through advanced stunts to everyone, but most of the instruction is individual one-on-one with our guys...
I am! After two awful seasons, we hired Charlie Weis with Dave Campo as our defensive coordinator, and although I'm not expecting too much this first year, things are definitely going in the right direction.
Just trying to spread the word! Details and the registration link are at the following link:
Cheerleading Camps and Clinics from the KU Cheerleaders
Traditionally this has been more of a youth event, but it really works well as a cheap college visit option so I've split the 1-hour clinic into a...
At KU, we get a mix off all-star cheerleaders, school cheerleaders, people who did both, and of course some guys who've never cheered at all. Their enjoyment of sideline seems to vary just based on the person (though it's pretty hard to not enjoy our basketball games!).
For our hard-core...
It's not real common but happens occasionally - probably more so with guys, since often girls make the gymnastics to cheer switch a bit earlier. It would definitely help her at college tryouts to get at least some stunt experience well before tryouts. Sometimes high-level gymnasts struggle with...
Details are at: Cheerleading Camps and Clinics from the KU Cheerleaders
We usually do a few half-day clinics in the spring, but haven't done a summer one for awhile. We may also do a fall one this year, but not sure about that yet. We hope to see you there!
Thanks for the link -- I knew about this long ago but hadn't seen the actual PDF, and didn't realize we were one spot from Tier 2. Crazy how a dropped stunt can cost you a few thousand dollars! LOL
