C'mon, watching The Twinkles is a great reason to buy an iPad!

Happy to hear that. Our timing wasn't all that great, what with Apple releasing a new operating system the same day. I wish we'd been done sooner, but we were waiting for all the extra pieces to be assembled. And you'll be happy to know there's a great audio file of you daughter in the Twinkle...

Sorry, it will only work on tablets. Not on an iPhone or an iPod.

We've tried this on the full lineup of iPads with iOS 5 and iOS 6 and haven't had any problems. Try deleting the app and downloading it again. It is for tablets only, so will not run on a phone.

That's weird. I am using iOS 6 on both a new iPad and an iPad2 without problem. Try quitting the app and relaunching it. Sorry about that. Edited to add this... There was an iOS 6 update to the NJ Special Reports app. Make sure you have that update if you have iOS 6.

Personally, no. But the reporter, photographer and filmmaker were at the competitions where the Twinkles took part. I've seen lots of video, photos and heard many anecdotes, but I don't get out of the office much any more, unfortunately. One of the perils of management, I'm afraid.

Those are great questions. First let me say I am not the filmmaker, the reporter, the photographer. I am an editor at the paper - one of many people involved in this project. My role is developing the tablet app - which we plan to release in a few weeks - that ties all this project in one piece...

Funny you say that. We've already been talking about the sequel: "Twinkles 2: Electric Boogaloo" "Twinkles 2: Attack of the Bows" "Twinkles 2: Tumble with a Vengeance" "Twinkles 2: The Last Crusade" "Twinkles 2: Judgment Day" "Gianna Antico and the Order of the Twinkles" ... and so on.

It's true, in New Jersey, everybody must wear a seat belt, no matter where they sit. And are you asking if the children were driving the cars? We didn't see that. Thank God.
