Hey everyone, just curious if anyone has the final scores for the senor coed Lvl 3 division for last year's D2 summit? Looking for the scores for finals, but if you have wildcards or prelims that would be awesome also.
Thanks.

We're a small gym with just 1 senior and 1 junior team. Senior team is coed.
So around those ages would the best, but I would love to hear about any games that the kids have liked, even if their for the young ones. It may spark an idea and i could modify to make it more age appropriate...
Hey everyone. I've searched the forum and found a few things, but they're all pretty old posts. So I'm seeing if there is anything else to add.
I'm looking for some fun games that we can play during practice. I'm looking for anything that will have the team work on stunts, tumbling, technique...
As a gym owner I would tell you to go speak with the coaches and owner. I can't tell you how many times we've found out, after the fact, that so and so left or was unhappy because of some sort of miss communication. Have them explain the awards and the reasons they are giving them.
If after...
There are only 3 stipulations making it so most D1 gyms won't want to compete in that category. How does that make them not "worlds" worthy?
A lot of big gyms stack their world's teams with the best athletes from across the country sometimes. A D2 gym can't compete with that. Based on your...
To a certain extent I agree. However there are pros and cons of being large vs small and vice versa. More options for pyramids, dance, etc with a large team, which hypothetically should produce a better score. Smaller teams have the advantage of being easier to get clean and together.
I think...
I think it had more to do with lightning. They evacuated the pavilion, and the north and south arenas. Those are all tents that are anchored to the ground. Then people standing on that same ground. Could be a bad time if lightning hit a metal tent full of people.

I think skill is the first thing that matters. For a small program like ours (30 kids) it's better to place all the athletes with similar skills in the same team regardless of age. This format allows that. The other one didn't.

As a small small gym (30 kids), I'm happy they changed it back. It means being able to field 2 teams vs 4 like we were going to. 1 of the 4 teams only having 3 kids on it at the moment.
Sure we would love to max out an age group for youth, junior, etc. It gives you the best advantage possible...
They do, but last week during summit the feeds were a little weird at times. Just jeep watching and when it straightens out you'll see it.

Well that would not be good at all!! I'll let everyone know what the possibilities could be then we'll make a plan and hope for the best ha ha.
Thank you!!

Yeah I figured it would be easy to figure out once we were there. But the more info I can give the parents the better.

Thank you so much!! We are at sports, so that is good to know also.
With us being new to the venue and competition we are just trying to give the parents as much good information as we can.

Awesome. I gave us an hour, so I may add a little more time especially since no one from our program has been to summit or worlds.

Hey, everyone. We have received our first Summit bid for the D2 Summit this year. I am trying to put together the itinerary for the parents tonight, but I'm not sure how long it takes to get to the Wide world of sports from our hotel (All-star sports resort) with the shuttle buses. Just an...
