As a college kid trying to get back into allstar and needing some serious tumbling help, Would you reccomend starting with a class or privates? I can see that a downside to classes would be the fact that i’d be with kids, which i dont necessarily mind, but would that be an issue...
i know for someone like me who is “old” by allstar standards and is also pretty far removed from my last allstar team, i would be so ecstatic if a gym near me offered an IO1/2/3. Does anyone think (or hope) this could happen in the near future?
Im totally willing to get into some classes (even if im with a bunch of kids :cool:) Maybe i will go for it! CA is even closer to me and my sister is a superkat there! Now im dreaming...;)
I havent cheered in AGES and i was never level four (at least tumbling wise) and spirit of texas is going to have evals for an open 4&5 and i want to do it so bad but i figure a gym like that probably wants tumbling! Getting old sucks!
I'm a college student wondering if it would be strange to find a gym close to my university and take a few tumbling or stunting classes that are at beginner levels, since i haven't cheered since middle school. I really do want to get back into it, and maybe try out for my university next season...
Exactly, thats why pro teams hire trainers and doctors, they get to know the players and when one of them gets hurt they treat the injury the whole time and constantly monitor them...with cheer getting to be such a big thing, i wouldn't be surprised if gyms start bringing people like me in to...
Try putting in your contacts either before or after your makeup and see if either of those helps...i had an issue with this with just regular makeup and when i switched from 30-day contacts to one-a-day contacts that actually eliminated the problem. Not sure how, but it did.
