When you have a 2 day competition, how can you have a higher raw score when you had some deductions on day 1. And on day 2 you Hit but wind up with a lower raw score. Can someone please explain?

My guess for a lower raw score on day 2 when you hit could be because of other reasons.

If it's difficulty it could be, day 1 they attempted switch ups, double ups, or specialty passes and fell. Although they were deducted they did do/ attempt them. On day 2 the coach could of had girls take out elite skills, and just do a regular pass, or just have them go straight up or what not just to have them stay in the air. So no you aren't deducted for it but it was easier.

Or it could be on execution, you may have had stunt falls day 1 with a certain score, on day 2 you hit but the tumbling wasn't executed as good. Jumps weren't executed as technically as day 1. Like arm placement, feet, or synchronization. So you hit 0 but your performance overall wasn't truly better.

Execution and performance (energy, facials, ect) may have been worse on day 2. Just because all stunts stayed in the air doesn't meant that the technique and sync were better.
