I am going to Oregon next year and have been looking for Allstar Teams over there. As i am unfortuately old :)() i am looking for Open Teams which would maybe consider a Non-Tumbler for their Team . I really don't have any specific ideas, i just want to cheer while i'm there because i might die without it
So if anyone could help me out with? I really don't know anything about Teams in Oregon

These are the teams listed in the wiki, I don't know if they offer open teams though
Champion Cheer Athletics (Salem) - http://www.championcheer.net/
Cheer Zone Gym (Medford) - http://www.cheerzonegym.com/
Oregon Dream Team (Tigard) - http://www.oregondreamteam.com/
Oregon Elite Allstar Cheerleading (Albany) - http://www.oregonelitecheer.com/
PEAK Elite (Corvallis) - http://www.peakelite.net/
Precision Cheer Academy (Medford) - http://www.precisioncheer.com/
StyleShock Cheer and Dance (Portland) - http://styleshockcheeranddance.com/
Thunder Elite (Clackamas) - http://www.thunderelite.com/

Styleshock has an open 6, which they are discontinuing after the 11-12' season. It is a failed program that costs the gym more to have then they bring in.

They also have bases that fall to the ground catching baskets.....

Oregon Dream Team AKA West Coast Extreme occasionally has an open coed LV5 team but they do it for one season every couple of years.

oh uhm okay
Well i read that Thunder Allstars do have an open team but they have tumbling requirements ,but i'll try my luck anyways...

Thunder Elite had a Restricted coed 5, not an open. They are now sm coed 5 for 12-13'.

Styleshock has gotten way better and will be continuing their Open Coed 6 program for 12-13'. I am probably going to be on it.

Why did West Coast Extreme change their name to Oregon Dream Team or is a collaberation of programs?

That's so cool that you're coming to Oregon! I feel like no one ever comes to our state. Styleshock is closing down their open team and the likelihood of Oregon Dream making one is slim to none. There is a open team at !mpact Athletics (Hillsboro) called a "Parent team" so there is no age limit on it but the ages do very. Another option is practicing with the Oregon State University team. I'm a cheerleader for OSU and I know we have "open practices" so anyone is allowed to drop by and practice with us

Unfortunately my plans got changed a little so instead of the US i am going to England now. I'm still excited though because age-wise its a little easier for me to get into allstar -cheer over there! Thanks for all your help though :)
