CHEER NATION; both the gym in Massachusetts and the cheer nation overall, mourn the loss of 12-year old Angel Pena, killed in a car accident while reportedly on her way to cheer practice.
Cheer Nation is a new Allstar gym in Massachusetts, the combination of the former Sparks Allstars and G-Force.
OFFICIAL POLICE REPORT:
A 12-year-old girl was killed and two other females suffered serious injuries in a single vehicle rollover crash on Route 24 in Avon Thursday, State Police said. The accident occurred at approximately 5 p.m., said David Procopio, State Police spokesman. A preliminary investigation by State Police found that at least two of the victims had been ejected from the vehicle. The 12-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene, said Captain James Bertram of the Stoughton Fire Department. State Police would not release the victim’s name or the names and ages of the injured, said Procopio.
