Ok help me out guys. I've found some good loops to use to make my own mix, but I have no idea how to use them. Do I just combine them with the songs I'm using? How do you put the song you want together with the loop to make it sound good?

Hey coachsara, I don't know what kind of loops you have or what program you use to compile them, but if you are talking about samples from songs, the best way to get them to gel is by eqing. Try eqing out the bottom end and putting in your own backbeat. Also, try using builds, descends, and other sfx's to mask the transitions. Don't know how advanced you are, but eq and compression are going to be key for getting a good sound. It can take really hard work and a lot of creativity to make it sound great. btw my name is Jody, from Coda Cheer. Feel free to PM me for sfx or if you continue to have a hard time. Good luck!
