That happened to my cp's small youth 3 last year at nearly every competition. I think spirit of hope is the only place that had enough teams to split them small vs large. It's happened to her small jr 4 this year too except for cheersport. I think that just comes with the territory of being a higher level at younger ages. But don't discount them, our small jr 4 has beaten large jr 4s this year. Good luck!
