No team in large all girl has won NCA and Worlds the same year. I would not call it a curse more that the teams in this division are that close

Technically, that year, they won large senior open and not large senior (a different division). There was still a "large senior curse" that year. (Panthers won NCA Large Senior and got silver at Worlds.).

It is most pronounced in large all girl, but the NCA and Worlds winners are different more often than not.

The curse is obviously over, since this is the last year of worlds (thanks Mayan calendar). STARS4LIFE
