High School Cheer Words Needed!

This is my second year coaching at this high school, and the team has NEVER competed before. I'm bringing them to 2 competitions this year, and I need an awesome cheer! Someone please help!
Our theme for varsity is starting something new and making new traditions.

This is what I have so far:
Deerfield, Warriors
That's who we are
this is the year
we're raising the bar

School info: Deerfield High School
Mascot: Warriors
Colors: Red and Gray

Congrats! I am also a second year coach for a team that will be competing for the first time in school history. Ironically, our colors are red and grey too and we are also from Illinois. Are you competing IHSA, ICCA, UCA, NCA?

I like the beginning you have already, very catchy.
What about:
Starting a tradition
The Red and the grey
Warriors, that's right
Remember the name.

We may be new,
but soon you'll know
winning it all
that's how we roll.

Hi Patty! This year my team is just exhibitioning at two competitions, but hopefully starting next year we'll do IHSA comps.
