All-Star Creative Stretching

I have been trying to find ways to motivate my girls into stretching more at home. Some do, some don't, and some do it sporadically. I've posted videos to inspire them, thanks @johnbutler they <3 Gabbi, but I wanted to do something to really challenge them into thinking of ways they can stretch without it being a chore; so I came up with a contest. I thought I'd share it with you as some of the pictures are really inspired. Basically they have to post a photo of them stretching/conditioning at home but be creative with it. It has only been 24 hours and these are a few that have already been submitted. (I've spoken to a couple about technique as it's a bit janky, but I just love their ideas )

Yeah I find that video games are the best at getting her to hold stretches for a while. Anything, really, that will distract you is good. She is pretty flexible so it is more about maintenance than anything else.

And guess what the first thing I said to them was ... yes 'I dont want you on the stove top getting burns on your thighs, it will be a hard one to explain to the A+E docs' I did check with her and the stove top wasn't actually on I had to disqualify one because she was in gorgeous splits but on the rail of the banister at the top of the stairs!!! Apparently her mum was out of sight ready to catch but that doesn't matter, safety is always first

These were a couple from church this morning, I'm loving their enthusiasm for it, I just hope it continues and they do it properly.
