Flexiblity?

  • Flexibility decreases injuries to some extent
  • Flexibility is important for jumps!, tumbling!, stunting!, dancing! AKA everything in cheerleading...
If you didn't know why it was important, why do you stretch?
 
If you're a flyer and sit in your right leg splits bend your back backwards and reach for your foot you're stretching for a needle/scorpion
 
Splits are great!!!!! In centers, rock your hips side to side and they help with bow and arrows. heel stretch/ leg extensions can be better by doing your side split and leaning forward or oversplit and leaning forward. Many other things as well!
