All-Star Friday Night Competitions

How many of you like competing on a Friday night, battle at the boardwalk has all level 5's competing tonight? Would you rather do a Friday / Sat and relax Sunday or a typical competition weekend, with no time to recover from your cheer hang over?

As a parent speaking (and sooo happy my child is not competing tonight) I do not like it. Friday night competition requires me or my husband taking off of work (we live 3 hours away) and me pulling my CP and other children out of school. TOTALLY not worth it to me...or to my friends who are going up there tonight.

Once in high school we competed on a friday night, I did not like it because all during the day I had that nervous/adrenaline feeling and I had no focus on school just sat there picturing the routine all day long.

I'm thinking it's a bad idea based on the twitter updates i've been seeing. Not one team has even come close to hitting.

At least nobody got hurt. Friday night competitions seem like a bad idea.

My team was one of them that competed last night, seemed like most teams had an off night (including us). I was exhausted by the end and they dragged out this competition with 7 minutes between each team. I did not like it.
