So I started a tumbling class in march. I switched to a better place two weeks ago.And I've been trying to get my back handspring. But I when I try and do the standing ones (on flat floor, not cheese mat) I can't get high. They end up slow, or just lazy. Yes, I can get my self over, but I can't really jump high at all. I feel like I'm doing ugly back handsprings :(

Please help, I'm dying to get my back handspring!
Thanks! :)

On the floor, you'll need to push harder and faster through your toes. If they feel low, you might not be getting your hips up, so try to push them up as well. Also, make sure your arms are swinging fast back past your ears. Keep repping them out. They will get better.
