I Need Toe Touch Help

Can someone please explain to me how to "roll my hips" everyone says my jumps are pretty hyper extended but if I roll my hips it could look way better, pm me or post here please
 
Here's what helped my CP get a feel for it.

Stand and raise one leg into about a level toe touch position. Now slightly bend your standing leg and tuck your hips under like you're about to sit down. That's the same motion your hips need to do in the air. You sit into it.
 
^^^ Forgot to add... When you do that, you should see your foot rise about 6 inches - it'll do the same thing when you jump.
