High School Ihsa Rule Changes 2014-2015

Does anyone know if the IHSA proposal to make one male per team coed passed or not??? Can't find it anywhere and want to make sure I know what I'm getting into heading Into tryouts for 2014-2015 season.

I don't see that it has passed yet, only that it's being recommended. I'm sure in June when they meet again then there will be a final ruling on it. I know that doesn't help you right now, but IHSA is a little slow sometimes on changing rules. The good thing is that they are making the necessary changes to set up the state championship like any other sport which is great to see them recognize cheer as a SPORT.

Thank you!! Yeah...just was hoping to prepare myself haha for either coed or all girl again depending on guy turnout. We have two returning guys to the team...both will be juniors next year.
