We just started an All Star Cheer gym in Chino CA. Getting the word out has been a challenge! Lots of competition in our area! Any suggestions for small gyms I'm talking 20 kids small, to help us grow!

Did you have a small core group of kids to start with or did you create this program with no kids at all?

Word of mouth is a huge way to grow a small program like that and plaster the heck out of your Facebook and Twitter asking for kids.

Best advice I've seen is to take care of your athletes and parents and have fair and consistent business practices. If your coaching is good and they know you care they will come back and bring their friends.

We opened our gym 2 years ago in MS. At coaches' conference, the advice we were given was use social media and word of mouth. From those leading the conference sessions with successful gyms who had tried numerous ways to advertise, they said other methods were just a waste of money. Your best advertising will be your parents and your athletes / word of mouth.
