Also WE Black Ops 1st ever!
I didn't have a chance to catch The Majors tonight but Cheetahs have only lost the majors twice ever! I believe 2012 and 2020 are the only years they didn't win. That's ridiculous.
Love that cheer updates shared scores & difficulty scores
2021 MAJORS | Level 6 Specialty Event - cheerUPDATES
Ok but SE looked GOOD. They clearly thrive off an audience. IDK if it was grand champs good, but it was definitely up there.
Interesting to see that, for a couple of divisions, the teams that had the hardest routine difficulty placed last. Really highlights the argument of an easier clean hit vs. risking it a bit for higher difficulty!
I like this break down - it will be interesting to see what this means later in the season as those with the hardest routine have more time to practice/perfect and increase stamina.
I just need TGLC to hit.
Did they take away the "incomplete rotations" in the tumbling deduction sheet? I noticed A LOT of that last night and I didn't see it on anyone's scores.
That has only been a deduction at Worlds
So you could technically do a 1 1/2 rotation and not get a deduction but it would get scored poor technique or something?
They won’t make it easy for SE at Worlds. I think they’ll be breathing down their necks all year.
I was surprised at the difficulty scores from majors for large All Girl:
World Cup - Stars 34.7
CEA - Senior Elite 34.6
Stingrays - Orange 34.3
CA - Panthers 34.2
Those are large senior, and those are based on the prelim videos that were sent in prior to the event. The difficulty scores changed some during the actual event. (Teams may have watered down since their original video or added for the actual performance, and difficulty scores fluctuate.)
Sorry, I meant Large all girl. Panthers & Cheetahs were both amazing.
