A lot of girls on my team have gotten mental blocks, and I want to encourage and help them, but I want to make sure that I am not making it worse.. Its just really frusturating and hard to watch. What do ya'll think I should do?

For some reason mental blocks can be contagious. They can result from to much pressure to gain skills the athlete may not be reay for. All you can do is encourage your team mates no matter how small the skills they accomplish. I always recommend that athletes experiencing mental blocks tumble at another location with another coach if possible. I believe that by doing this the expectations from that coach aren't the same as the expectations from coaches within their home gym. Mental Blocks are real and they take time to get over. Just try not to be judgemental, just be supportive.....Remember No Pressure. Good Luck
Side note: my recommendations are based on what worked for my CP.
