kingston, this is from the NCA predictions thread. Green = Paid, Blue = PP, Red = AL

Not sure which colors to follow now, however, when I posted this in the NCA predictions thread I had a typo. Elite Cheer Sensation Diamonds VA in SSR is incorrect it should be Elite Cheer & Dance Diamonds NC in SSR division. Also, need to add in SRMC division Spirit Athletics Notorious CA.

Is this correct? I changed Elite Cheer Sensation to Elite Cheer & Dance Diamonds in Small Senior Coed (who have a full paid bid).

I just ran some numbers, and for teams (level 5 not 6) all you have to do is beat at most 16 teams and theoretically as low as 8 teams for a bid (if all the paids went to teams that have no bids. Realistically I only see a couple at most though going to teams that don't already have partials or at larges.

I think redsmom had it right. The team from VA without a bid will be at this competition. The team from NC with a bid will not be at this competition.

Elite Cheer Sensation Diamonds from VA is attending NCA with no bid. Elite Cheer & Dance Diamonds from NC is NOT on the NCA schedule. The above list is based on the NCA schedule dated 2/20 and the Fierce Wiki as of last night, so I am hoping it is accurate.

Not defending all of the delay, but part of the delay for the USASF is that they are reporting bids accepted and they have to wait until everything is delivered.

this is a bit of a dumb question but why do they need to wait for people to report an accepted bid? why wouldnt you accept one

Dont wanna spend the money to go if you only get an at large bid. Have crossovers from another worlds team that is definitely going to worlds on that team so this team can't go due to the crossovers...etc..

Some gyms don't accept at large bids either.

I'm actually surprised more people don't just accept at large bids to make less bids available.

Also, even with a paid bid (app $25,000) for large teams that is probably only about 2/3 the total cost not counting family members. For some teams, they might not be able to do that.
