All-Star Patellar Tendinitis, Weak Patellar Tendon Braces

My 10 year old experienced the same symptoms earlier in the summer. The ortho told her to wear a patella tendon strap and a lot of ibuprofen daily. I was worried about the amounts of ibuprofen, but three different doctors okay'd it. The doctor and physical therapist also told her to ice for 15 minutes after each practice. They say this should end when she stops growing. I hope your daughter is feeling better. Good luck.

Yes I need to get those straps as well, but she's gonna be in a brace for the tendonitis for a while...it's just gut wrenching to see her going through all this and not be able to do a darn thing about it.
