Pendelum Level 1 In Pyramid

I coach mini level 1 and I am choreographing their routine. I understand the pendulum rule of having 2 catchers is no longer. I want to make sure that pendulum to flatback in a level 1 pyramid from prep is legal? Would it be legal to the stomach as well?

Treat a pendulum like any other transition. If it doesn't break any of the rules (no releases in level 1 except straight cradles, no inversions, etc) then it is legal. This is true for any skill - if you're not breaking a rule, it is legal. That being said, there are ways to do a pendulum legally and illegally in level 1. Don't break any rules, and your pendulum will be legal.
