What are some fun traditions you or your cp have done right before competing?

I completely get it. I am on a senior two team for the first time and I am amazed at the friendships that form. We have a ten year old(i know she's young but she crosses down to the youth team too) and a sixteen year old that are besties. We have one group of girls that are either sisters or might as well be. I am looking for some creative ones. I am also trying to get my team to do big/littles with the youth team.there is no such thing as fun right before competing, i usually feel like this :splat:
On a serious note, we usually take each others hands and tell each other we can do this and try to focus, that's about it . Not really fun i'm afraid
That is so cute!!CP has stick it glitter and she truly believes that without it, her stunts won't hit. Her current team is anti-glitter so I think we'll hide a patch under her uniform---normally is in her hair.

Anti-glitter!?! That's just insane! I get that we have moved past the mega glitter eyes, but to have no glitter/shimmer anywhere is darn right wrong!!
Their bow has bling on it, but they do a smokey eye and red lips. No glitter eyes, no glitter hair...etc. etc.
I love the idea of having a smokey eye and red lips!!!
Thanks!
Yup, no glitter at all! Their bow has bling on it, but they do a smokey eye and red lips. No glitter eyes, no glitter hair...etc. etc. It's quite the opposite of our previous experience. Half-year local to us had her do MASSIVE glitter hair and orange glitter eyes, team from MO was red, white & blue glitter eyes with a lightly glitter spray in her hair.
To be honest, I personally love it---I am not a fan of glitter, especially on the little girl's who have trouble putting make-up on to begin with. I absolutely hated doing glitter eyes because it always ended with my CP in tears. The hair I could take or not, it doesn't really affect their performance in any which way so I'm fine without it.
I never got the idea of glitter lips-eww! And glitter eyes, well I put on some glitter eyeliner for fun once and it was SO hard to get off! It was stuck in my lash line and onto my face. Some of it even got inside my eyeball
I don't mind a light spraying of glitter hairspray though or rhinestones on a uniform/bow.
I just worked out that shimmer eyeshadow would be less tacky and still have a shimmery effect.Yup! It always got in her eyes no matter how much glue I used and then the crying would make it go away and back to square one. Once, she fell asleep in the car and it all came off so the second we parked I had to do it in the car...it was awful! I don't ever want glitter eyes again.
I don't like the idea of a child as young as yours in a smokey eye. I understand if not your decision as a parent but from a coach/gym owner POV what message are we really trying to send about our athletes. Thanks!

How old is her CP?I don't like the idea of a child as young as yours in a smokey eye. I understand if not your decision as a parent but from a coach/gym owner POV what message are we really trying to send about our athletes.
I don't know her exact age but I wouldn't assume she is even older than 8.How old is her CP?
