All-Star Still Not A Sport

When people look at cheerleading, they think of pompoms and cheers on the sidelines. So right of the bat, people have a dipiction that competitive cheerleading is an increased version of that. And to not stir the pot, people just go along with it and say it's not a sport. It is.

This bugs me quite a bit. Cheerleading, in my opinion, is a sport, but I think others don't see it as one because they think of the cheerleaders at the sports games, with short shorts, little tops, lots of cleavage and pom poms. I would just love to see some people understand it for what it really is.

I could go on for days about how hard we all work, and how we deserve to be titled "a sport", but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what all the other people around us think. As long as I try my hardest to be the best athlete I can be, I know I participate in a sport.
And it doesn't hurt that I have more titles than my school's football teams combined since 2005...lol.
