Hey y'all!

My stunt group has a really solid full and my flyer has a really solid twist cradle, but we've never tried it with her from a full. Our cradle from a full is mostly a small pop and then down, not much of a huge throw. Does anyone have any tips for getting more height from a full extension? We need more for her to twist down, and we need to get this next practice.

Thanks!

bend your legs a lot, with a big pop through the shoulders to get as much height as possible. A cradle from extension will always have less height than a cradle from double base, but if your flyer has a solid full down from double base, then she should be able to full from extension just fine. Make sure that she is riding the cradle and not twisting out of your hands. lots of flyers fulling from extension for the first time think that because they're twisting from extension they need to twist right away, but this will make it a lot harder for everyone.

Remind flyer to full hips up. Many flyers "roll" over shoulder/torso...thus causing her to "take out"
A couple of individuals under her and undercut the "ride"... tell her to pull chin up spot for the FRONT (not her back spot) and chase her right high V to her left back pocket (bum cheek) as she rotates AFTER she feels her feet leave her bases hands. Most important- commit commit commit :) it also helps to explain a prep and an extension are really only different in height in that if your flyer was standing on the floor vs standing on a chair. She's really not that much further off the ground. As long as shoulders of bases are shrugged/bases are close together (preferably chest to chest) core and leg timing dip is on- it should really be fairly easy.
