So I can do a 1 to tuck pretty consistently, but whenever I add a touch touch before it I faceplant in the tuck. Every time. I've always noticed that when I do a back handspring out of a toe touch I lose a considerable amount of technique and I have less power. I saw that I wasn't snapping down in my toe touch so I was starting my bhs with my legs apart. I thought that was the problem but when I fixed it, it didn't really help. Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Make sure to use your legs a lot when you're going for the tuck, not just landing the toe touch and whipping yourself back.

Use the toe touch to your advantage! Really use your legs! Make you you're landing your toe touch feet together and you're exploding through your toes with you chest up into your handspring.

Aca-awkward. I just re-read this and I thought it said one toe touch to tuck not toe touch one to tuck. So my previous post didn't make sense...sorry.
