Videos Won't Show Up?

I can never see embedded youtube videos in threads- EXCEPT for when they're quoted. I know they're there, but literally nothing shows up, just a big white space. I'm not really sure how to work around it, I can't click on the videos to watch them on the youtube website because there's just nothing there for me to click on. Does this happen to anyone else? I'm using Chrome with Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix it? I don't have this problem on other websites- just the boards.

if you use another browser it works
(i use chrome too and have to open up safari or firefox when i want to see the vids.... obnoxious)

Boooo... I hate using Safari and Firefox because they slow everything down and I always get rainbow wheel! Thanks for your help, though!
