All-Star Wc Shooting Stars Arena

Just saw this "World Cup announces the opening of our brand new 7,000 sq. ft. "Shooting Star Arena" located in the building next door to our current gym. Opening June 15th" Does anyone know if this will be just a couple more floors, or a legitimate arena recreation, similar to the one at CA with lights/backdrop/smoke? Any pictures of the plans? Im so excited to see WC expanding even more, looking forward to what the future brings!

^It's their performance floor. They used to hold a showcase prior to big comps for other programs to come and show off.

When I visited WC last season, Elaine was talking about it. It's basically going to be a Stars-exclusive building for current Stars and Stars alumni. Stars will practice there as opposed to the regular gym in order to stay focused and be more focused on.

I think it's a great idea! Can't wait to visit NJ and see it!

I love how WC is the only gym that could get away with naming an arena after one team and get away with it. Suns were my favorite team from WC this year, can they get their own black floor with a big golden sun in the middle of it!

That makes me really sad..like it's cool that they want to make a performance area similar to CAs, but it's like basically admitting to favoring one team over all the others, including ones in the same level. That would upset me..considering they already seem to do so much for Stars.

I'm hoping other teams get some time in there too. If it's only for that one team then that's.....interesting.

agreed. i LOVE stars, but i feel bad for all of the other teams, especially the other level 5 teams who also kick butt. it think that i would be upset. hopefully everyone gets some time there!
