I called time on cheering when I left university, I kept getting hurt quite a bit both through that and other sports and I had to start thinking long term - I eventually want to become a firefighter, so I need to make sure I stay as healthy as possible.

The team I cheered for when I was 14-18 years old has had a few name/training venue changes since I left so i'm not sure what level they're competing at anymore.

Then from 2009-2011 I was on Loughborough University Goldrush here in the UK. When I competed they were level 4 all-girl (they'd previously been coed but didn't have the guys when I was there). I still keep in touch with a few of the girls and still go to some of the Loughborough American Football games to help out on the sidelines, and I do miss it, but I think not continuing was the right thing for me.
