I know Flexiii_Lexiii that is always seem to be a shortage of Speech Pathologist and Audiologist in the different school districts in my area and I heard this was probably all over. I was going to try to speculate why this is at the moment, but I'm not! It could be just the sign of the time now... But those are 2 good career choices...
Yes I've heard this! All heard certain children's hospitals are short on them too. Definitely looking at UNR & Sac State right now

I only wish I had a desire to go back to school at this moment, because this is exactly the direction I will be moving in. Many of the Speech Pathologists in my school district are pretty much the most liberated employees -- these employees at my school are the least hounded and caught up in stupid bureaucracy mumble jumble... Good Luck!

BA in Linguistics
MA in Speech Pathology

It's a great career and there are so many different specialties within the field that everyone can truly find their niche. Mine was Early Intervention with a focus on oral motor skills and feeding.

BS - double major in Biology and Mathematics
Minor - Business Finance, which only means I've taken at least 4 courses in this area
MLS- Library Science
MS - Teacher for Students with Disability with a focus in Learning Disabilities - Special Education

Worked many years as an Academic Librarian and then grew tired of that kind of work, and switched to be a Research Specialist at a Financial Institute near the WTC (I was responsible for providing research for Investment Bankers in the areas of Science, Pharmaceutical and Technology). I decided to shift gears again and teach after 9/11 scared the crap out of me.

I have been teaching Math/Science for the last 10+ years at an Urban MS and love it...

PS: At one time, I wanted to go into Healthcare Administration

My degree is criminal justice/conservation technology. I'd love to do conservation work like being a game warden once I graduate this year. :)

What a fascinating combination!,

Bachelors degree in finance and supply chain management
MBA with a focus on sustainability and supply chain management

... any fierceboarders in Orlando? Just moved down here to take a job position!

Just started my 4th year studying to get my BA double major in Kinesiology and Psychology. Hoping to get accepted next year to get my Masters in PT in Scotland!
I didn't know there were still Masters programs being offered. That's so exciting though, good luck to you! It would be awesome to have another PT on the boards!
