I noticed they were using air tumbling mats, which I have been told have a much different feel and response than spring or rod floors. Anyone out there with air mat tumbling versus spring/rod floor experience that could tell us if that could play into they way the younger kids were tumbling? Also, I'm assuming just from physics, that air mats would absorb energy making rebounds less powerful. Anyone?
