actually you can park at a metro station for free on the weekends (or at a garage for like a dollar) so it's not *that* bad all the time.
You just became my new best friend - cheap parking and cupcakes - it doesn't get much better than that! Does the weekend include Fridays (I'm guessing no)? Can you give me the best place to park near the Marriott Marquis for the weekend? I was debating on flying instead of driving because of the parking, but the flights are high. If I can save on parking then it makes more sense to drive.
Or Plan B is there an economical way to get from BWI to the hotel? Flights are so much cheaper to and from there!
Thanks!

there's usually decently cheap flights in and out of Boston to DCA--when I was up for the Frozen Four it was less than 150 round-trip.

You could try parkwhiz: Marriott Marquis Washington, DC Parking - Find Guaranteed Parking

BWI to hotel: either take the MARC train from the airport to Union Station and then hop on the red line going toward Shady Grove and get off at Dupont circle and walk, or take the B30 Bus from BWI to Greenbelt station, and board a green line train and transfer to the red line and get off at Dupont Circle.

The Marriott Marquis isn't *far* from Metro stations, but it's just not that *close* to them either. It's a gorgeous hotel though--it's where the Pope Francis media center was based out of.

@quitthedrama wait I was wrong--take the Green line to the Convention Center stop if you go with the bus/metro route and take the red line to Gallery Place/Chinatown and transfer to green to the Convention Center stop if you take the MARC train route.

i'm surprised you can't find a cheap flight into Reagan on Southwest. And depending on what time you are flying into BWI we might be able to pick you up.

Georgetown cupcake is my favorite. I tried it in New York City a few years ago and became obsessed! Then they opened one in Boston a few months later. I go usually once a month.

I am so confused bout this competition. This looks like a more in-depth block schedule than I have seen before

http://thechampsleague.com/schedule/

But know I am wondering if the lower levels have to be ranked at a certain number to move on to day 2.
It doesn't look like it. I'm pretty sure everyone goes both days. Division times are a little shorter on Sunday but not enough that it would be due to a "cut". You don't have the whole play in on day 2 either so that saves a lot of time.
