I can't with the shorts and those elaborate tops. It's so incomplete and strange looking. It distracts me the whole time. I have no idea what their routine looked like.

cougars won the US division yesterday, today is the finals that combine both US and canada

*personally i dont get why they hand out day one and day two world medals for that division.

Normally, they would take the top 10 from US Trials to day 2, but since there were only 9 teams they all compete again. Today they have to take the Top 3 from each country to move forward into finals.

A lot of people get upset over each country being able to take the top 3 teams because some countries will score in the 40-60's and advance over teams with much higher scores who happen to be from a country with more than 3 teams competing.

Intl division - prelims, the top 10 from each country go on to semi-finals (only the US and Canada have trials, cos the other countries don't have more than 10 teams in each division).

Today - Semi-finals - top 3 from each country go on to finals (so today, teams are really only competing against the teams from their own country)

Mon - Finals - all the teams who qualified compete against each other for the globe

The top 3 from each country was a way of ensuring International teams made it to finals cos historically, most couldn't compete with the US teams. This is changing though.
