Pretty much agree with everything on this thread, including:
#worlds slip and slide
U$A$F
Bra brigade/Panty platoon
Tinies looking oranger than oranges themselves.
Actually, everyone looking orange.
The "Center flyer in a prep" dancing

ETA-I meant that I want to get rid of the non bra friendly uniforms, not our brigade.

@LateKate3 old thread?

That's not really a trend, but since it doesn't stop, year after year, i will be optimistic and place a wish: May all this salty, bitter, disrespectfull behaviour after "loosing" aka getting 2nd or 3rd place stop on facebook, instagram, snapchat, twitter and so on. By athletes (i don't care if you are 7 or 17), coaches, gym owners and parents. Just stop. It will not magically bring you 1st place, and it makes me side eyeing you, your team and your program (maybe not the whole gym if it's one athlete, but maybe yes if coaches are sharing the post...)
I know you worked hard and feel like you deserved to be first, but trashing first place teams, commenting their videos like "they shouldn't have won cause the routine is sloppy and boring" and tell team members from 1st place teams "that your team got robbed" will not, i repeat not, bring you better skills or the winning routine you want. So better get off to the gym or go stretching or please do anything productive with your life. Thank you.

1. Uniforms that don't allow for undergarments, have skirts/shorts the size of a belt, or expose parts better left covered.

2. rubbing of body parts, dancing like "professionals", and allowing little kids to do these things.

3. 30 lbs of makeup and hairspray on minis.

OMG one the hair, I was a comp looking at this tiny kid walk by kid was probably thigh high on me, but her hair was almost chest high on my 5'5 frame. I was seriously afraid to see this child run like if she started to fall this kid's hair would of brought her toppling down. On the other side the hair could of deflected a bullet.

I like to see the process of picking small/medium/large for guys uniforms and even girl's uniforms die out. I'd rather see made to measure become the standard. To be honest I'm tired of seeing cheerleaders in ill-fitting uniforms. I'd like to see uniforms conducive to wearing undergarments too.

I don't understand why this isn't already done. They can do so much more of that fir school uniforms, why not all star? At least offer numerical sizing like school cheer, and the ability lengthen or shorten.

Rock Dynasty in Kansas does buns off to the side and they look so cute! Just curious, what does your gym do for girls that have shorter hair that can't be worn in a bun?

They had bob haircuts so just the front pulled up with a bow. I'm sure the gym will continue the buns.

1) "Special" L5 Friday Night "Shows" designed to attract L1-5R to compete at an EP's weekend comp at the expense of the L5 athletes/parents
2) Parents promoting their pre-teens through hairspray/spray tans/bows and running their IG/Twitter Accounts
3) Poor sportsmanship in person and on social media
4) Stay to Play (reoccurring trend that REALLY needs to disappear)
5) Gyms that have so many crossovers they double the amount of teams that they actually should have
6) Gyms who try to "work" around the rules...even if it's "legal" it doesn't make it "ethical"
7) Moving your whole family so your under 18 athlete can cheer at a "big name gym"
8) Allowing your under 18 athlete to move and live without parents so they can cheer at a "big name gym"
9) Exchanging whole rosters of athletes for Summit so they can "win"
10) The idea that cheer will get your athlete a scholarship/money/publicity

Again, there aren't enough shimmies to give! I agree with your whole list!
