This is going to be a long day. So tempted to go lay by the pool since I have the next 2 days off, but I can't miss anything lol.

Michigan State, Illinois, Louisville, and Colorado made finals in All Girl D1A I guess that means all the others are in the challenge cup but won't know for sure until it is posted on varsity. Since there are only 8 teams I don't know why they don't just have them all go to finals like they do for Cheer 1A.

It's nice to see Clemson back in finals for the first time in 2 or 3 years.
Looks like dropping to intermediate was a wise choice, they have the highest raw score in their division. I can't help but wonder how they managed to pick up that many deductions though

I think those big .5 deductions are probably something in the 45 second. Or they did a skill that's not legal in intermediate.

Over half (7 out of 13 teams) in All girl intermediate 1 had that .5 deduction today.........I don't think I've ever seen that many safety/rule deductions! Craziness.

Confirmed that South Carolina did not make finals in Allgirl D1A and will compete at the Challenge Cup later today.

Yeah the amount of deductions in that division is seriously crazy. I don't think I have ever seen that many in a division in one day.

Just saw something on twitter that said about an out of bounds, I don't know how much of a deduction that is though.

I just want to know what rule they all got nailed for. Apparently the judges are being strict on something this year....whether its an actual rule violation that was misinterpreted by all these teams or something else, I haven't heard back from people yet.

It looks like out of bounds is only .05, plus I don't think it's a safety deduction. http://nca.varsity.com/pdfs/cn_scoresheets.pdf

Considering all those teams had almost the same exact number for safety deductions, I feel like it has to be something pretty obvious and easy to fix.

Yeah I am wondering it too, but since that division was part of the Live feed today I can't go and look at the videos.
I don't think it is the bow rule because I don't think that is a deduction but instead it just lowers part of your score and they were giving warnings. The regular deductions are probably just typical mess ups but the safety ones are what make me shocked.
