I am sorry but this is just not right...
I don't know what your background is but your assessment of pcm's tumbling is WAY off base!!
Anyone that has ever been through a PCM practice knows that we spend a great amount of time and energy on thechnique and form.
Unless you have more credentials then my coaching staff ... Which I doubt you have .... You should keep your uneducated opinions to yourself.

What a shock that you commented in this manner.
It is a 100% fact that your team competed underrotated doubles last season, many of them, with bent knees and crossed feet. It is also a fact that in the videos posted on Youtube, there are at least 5 or 6 instances of the same technique being used in doubles this season. Did I ever question your coaching staff? No. Did I ever say you don't work on technique and form? No. What I said was that there were underrotated doubles with crossed feet and bent knees, which there are. I can understand getting defensive as it's your own gym, but be realistic here.

Just because you work on something, doesn't mean it's automatically perfect. I can work my back handspring til the day I die, doesn't mean I have one.

That being said- Where does Courtney get her tops- they're always pretty? I spent half the video trying to think if I'd ever seen that blue top.

Bangkok- YES PLEASE. I love them..

As for CEA's stunts- By the way, there are 9 OF THEM!! :D At least on the first one..only got a quick glimpse of the second one..

CEA stunts are unreal, but does anyone else go NUTZ seeing so many kids chewing gum!? Not my gym, not my problem but man it drives me crazy LOL.

One of my all time peeves and I love gum. You would never see one of my Bows and Arrows athletes with gum at practice or performance. And those guys could be sneaky!

I'd lose it. Not because I'm overly worried about my adults choking to death, but because its just unprofessional and makes the most disgusting noise in my opinion

Just saying. People who can't do doubles and really can't teach them really shouldn't criticize. Not pointing out anyone. Just venting.
Well soon we will all get to see his amazing skills as he is supposedly competing should be fun to do an objective critique on him as he has on SO many others!

It would be one thing if he was saying that their tumbling sucked or that he could do better. But that wasnt the case, he simply said the truth. That there are under rotated doubles that are landing with bent knees. You can go back and look at the video yourself and you will see the same thing. There is no need to be catty or spiteful.

I agree that there are tumbling issues in the video. All I'm saying is its great to critique when you can't do the skill yourself.

And if you dont want to get critiqued then dont put it on the internet where the entire world and our surrounding planets can see it.......... Im working 1 to full whip whip doubles right now and dont have it down perfect. I dont want people seeing me eat mat, so Im not gonna put a video up. Its pretty simple

As much as you have a point. You also set your self up for it troy... You clearly see the underotated doubles on the video and you know people are going to say things about it so why put it up?

If you don't want things to be said don't post videos up period.. just simple you know the unwritten rule here don't post if you can't take the heat.

Weve all talked about the underotated doubs with you.. could of just been a fluke while the girls are performing or practicing.

I was specifically commenting on his final statment that PCM has a "history of" bad technique. The videos I put up are of practice they show the hits and the misses I have heard the same nonsense about my team and usually let it go because it is their "opinion" and I know it is inaccurate but when someone makes a blanket statment like that there is no way I can let it go unchallenged.

You don't have to be able to do the skills to teach them. Do you actually think Bela Karolyi can do all those gymnastic skills. No but he is one of the most amazing coaches. Do you think Elaine Pascal can do all the skills the shooting stars do. I think not but shooting stars is an amazing team. So That saying makes me so mad you don't have to be able to do the skill to teach the skill.

Never once have I said I can tumble like these athletes. They're extremely talented and I envy the fact that my brain is stupid and stops me from progressing and they can do it, however to say that a skill requires the ability to DO in order to be able to COACH is complete bull. Does Debbie Love step on the floor throwing double doubles? Do Joelle and Elaine go out and throw Stars' stunts and tumbling? Does Courtney Pope perform Senior Elite's pyramids?
From coaching gymnastics, learning from some of the best judges in my province (who never once competed gymnastics), and spending the last 5 years educating myself from a spectator's point of view in cheerleading and now as an athlete, I consider myself rather qualified to notice when someone's knees are bent.

Its 100% fact the most teams competed under rotated skills last season...they are usually called performance errors...most coaches i know do not intentionally set their athletes up to fail.
What you said was "PCM has a pretty good history of bad technique" and that is what I take issue with....that is wrong and inaccurate. Again my videos are of practice not hiding the bad moments because those are the learning moments.
