I think Senior Elite looks pretty good. The standing tumbling/first stunt sequence is a little too busy for me, but maybe I'll change my mind once I see a higher quality video or after they clean it up.

There's 36 girls on a mat trying to set the tone for their division at the beginning of the season, there's gonna be a lot going on & the coaches most likely will clean some of it up after today. And that looked nothing like last year imo.

Well your opinion and my opinion differ. Yes there are 36 girls on the mat. There are also 36 girls on Panthers, Shooting Stars, and on F5 (I know they're in medium now so please save your posts informing me). And in Panthers, Stars, and F5 routines I have NEVER seen it look as messy as Senior Elite does it. There's always 700 different things going on. I don't know. The way they set up their routines is done horribly to me. Stunts are awesome as always though.

I thought that Senior Elite was great! I feel like I'd be able to better appreciate the routine with a higher quality video though. Small Senior X looked fierce as always, and Coed Elite was amazing!

Well, you can't deny that those girls are super talented! Great job ladies! I like the routine, I just feel like some of the hardest skills get lost because there's so much happening.

Love the routine, but I will admit I didn't even see the last pass because I was watching the stunts change bases.

I didn't say your opinion was wrong at all, and I wasn't going to correct you about F5. And all of large senior looked messy this time last year, so it's not just SE.

You're most definitely alone, their routine is everything. Some people just don't get it and that's too bad.

I know what you mean. I have a really hard time watching the videos bc of quality. Of course I'm not trying to be ungracious to the people who upload them, bc plenty of people can see them fine, but I'm old and my eyesight sucks too!

I've often wondered if the fact that there are so many people on the floor around them watching makes people perceive the routine to be more cluttered? You really don't see that at competitions ya know? I'm not saying it's the only reason- just maybe a contributor?

Senior Elite is so talented but like many other said, too much is happening at once. I had to watch the opening around 4 times, the first stunt had very much going on, I didn't even noticed they had a last pass and so on. But you can see a foundation for a truly fantastic routine which we all know it will be in a couple of months.

One thing I don't get though is what erica, gabby and molly are doing in the first part of the elite stunt. Is that a bad on purpose scorpion? Are they trying to show like a where they started and where they've come type thing or am I reading way to much into it? I just know everything SE does has a meaning/story to it and I'm confused. Maybe someone with a better view or who knows can clarify what that is!

I think the perceived clutter all has to do with formations and transitions, IMO. Since it is their first performance of the year of course it will look messy. Formations and all that fancy stuff will change throughout the season anyway. I love the routine though, so creative! To me I don't care as much about the "clutter" as the actual skills being performed lol
