for some reason i feel like babs are holding a few things back from us.. i don't believe for a second they have 0 standing fulls, and it also seems like more is supposed to be happening in that jump section..

By the music, I'm guessing they might do jumps to tuck straight to standing tumbling.

120 athletes-first year out

the only thing that kills me about panthers routine is those double ups to scorpion, only one of them gets completely around. i know its early in the season, but i have slight ocd and it drives me nuts.

I have not watched their video, but I do know the breakdown was 50/50 for performance 1/performance 2. Maybe they didn't "hit" both routines??

Also, I have been told that SC requires some type of routine breakdown turned in prior to the event. Apparently if you do not compete what you've written down, there are deductions of some sort??? I'm not certain I even understand it all, so if someone that went could explain this maybe??

Spirit Celebration now has this thing called a "Skills Script" that each team can do but it isnt required. The skills script explains how many athletes are throwing a tumbling pass, what stunts the team is doing, what baskets are done, how many groups actually tick tock, what jumps are done and basically just gives an outline of the routine. The only way a team can get penalized for the skill script is if... lets say the coach put "20 fulls thrown" during running tumbling and when the team competed only 10 people actually did their fulls and the other 10 did layouts. You dont have to fill out the skills script to be able to win in the division

They haven't competes yet as far as I know. They did an exhibition with their teams at one of the competitions they host. Their first actual comp is THIS WEEKEND THOUGH!

I tweeted the BSB twitter account (big fan here haha) and they said their first comp was 14th December but I'm not sure whether it's all teams or just some of their teams.

Sorry to go back to arabesques I still would say that on this her knee and laces are pointing to the camera, where I feel they should always face down.

I had the same thought about baskets, they're also looking pretty low to me Maybe my standards have just been set so high by Wildcats opening (yes I know they're IOC5 so the guys are typically going to be stronger, but still)

That's wrong. She's turning out. That's proper ballet. Which is where the work arabesque comes from.
