Fearless was a first year team. I didn't expect them to place top 5, but for a gym that's never had an all girl senior 5 (only small coed) they did okay. I think if they stay in the division they can become more competitive. I don't really see an issue with them being in the division, they can only get better :) it just might take a few years for them to grow into the division.
It is EXACTLY what everyone said about LOVE last year. Hope Fearless stays in the division this year! :cheering:

Ummmm...hate to argue, but LOVE had a AMAZING performance and if more people had the courage to score as they should those placements would have been a little different. I don't think I am the only person who knows that there are some teams that ABSOLUTELY don't want those day 2 scores out there. Their scores this year prove they are right where they need to be with a 97.9 in MB. Now, if we can get judged on the performances and not the name of the gym....
I cried a bit inside when Love took 5th. After SE's performance I thought they would gotten top 4. I'm glad these girls don't accept defeat right away and keep coming back to this division. I'll just be over here patiently waiting for them to globe.

Well that's depressing... I wonder what the team is then, maybe Yellow? I would love that. They also apparently have 2 new teams this year, so that's exciting!

So, I guess this is the year of "everyone tries out for everyone." I'm probably a minority here, but something doesn't sit right with me when I hear about all of these KIDS moving multiple states away to try out for a team. I'm all about following your dreams, especially once you have graduated high school, but a solid education should be any parent's first priority for their child, not cheerleading. I'm also sensing the growing trend that many high school graduates are shaping the next chapter of their lives more so around cheering for their dream all-star cheerleading team than attending their dream college, and that is a bit disheartening, too.

Cheerleading is a fun lifestyle and an incredibly important part of all our lives. However, in the near future, no one will have a lucrative career as a competitive cheerleader or compete in the Olympics as a cheerleader. It makes a bit more sense when you hear about gymnasts, ice-skaters, swimmers, etc. missing out on a traditional education because there IS the possibility of going pro, earning millions of dollars, and having doors opened into other professional arenas. Sadly, no employer in the real world will ever care that you won the Champions League, NCA, Worlds, or all three combined.

Is there a "Womp" trophy? I think I just won it.

It's Blue - Large Junior 3
Yay, I'm happy about that too. I guess not having yellow means they probably have teal again which is fine by me! Because it would be pretty hard to have both, unless they have a totally new team. I guess we will find out soon enough and I can stop making guesses lol.
