it boggles my mind that for nearly 23 years i ate gluten probably every single day and no one knew i was allergic.... i accidentally had some contaminated food earlier and i thought i was going into anaphylaxis. 8 hours later and my tongue is still swollen. so scary.

and to avoid double posting... @luv2cheer92 or @Eyes On The Prize so how obnoxious do you think it would be to do T25 living on the top floor of an apartment building? how much jumping is involved? i mean its only 25 minutes my neighbors can probably deal... but i always feel bad when i drop 400 things a day onto their ceilings, purposely jumping seems mean. lol

Eek sorry to hear about the gluten thing but I'm happy to hear that your ok after.

There is some jumping involved in the workouts. If you're doing it on a mat it might help with the sound the jumping will make. Otherwise you can always modify or switch the exercises if you're worried about making noises. Like if your doing a jumping exercise for cardio then maybe you could do high knee runs instead. Or if your doing a jumping exercise for a leg workout, do a version that doesn't involve jumping but still works your legs. After doing the workouts for a week or two you'll learn what moves do what and you'll be able to switch things in and out as you need. There's also someone doing modified versions of the workouts on the video who rarely ever jumps. So for jumping ones you could follow her. There's definitely a lot of options!

Fun fact...I went to college with Shaun T. One of the nicest guys out there. I wasn't surprised with I saw him come out with his own fitness regime. He was super into all that in college. His BFF (she's done his videos and promotional stuff) is one of my sorority sisters.

Fun fact 2...I bought a new car today, so I'm now even more poor than I was 12 hours ago :)

I got a message from my supervisor saying that an event that has never been mandatory is now mandatory. Theyve been talking about the event for the past month but just today said it was mandatory. And that since we get paid on Friday everyone should be able to pay it. The money is due Monday. I probably wont cash my check until Wednesday of that week. Also I had already planned that this entire check was going towards my credit cards. Am I being unreasonable not going?
I'm pretty sure that legally an employer can't make you go to something without paying you. So this sounds illegal in all types of ways.

I need help ASAP y'all! I haven't been to an actual practice in over a year and went to one to help out a team a few nights ago. After just one round of conditioning I realized how out of shape I actually am and long story short but I can't bend down or get into any kind of athletic stance to base without a lot of pain. I've tried to push it but I just am in too much pain. I have another practice with this team to help out again tomorrow and I need tips on how to hopefully not be as sore! Anything helps, I'm desperate at this point.

I'm not a legal expert but I've never had an employer tell me what to do with my pay or what I should be able to afford after I get my salary. Your paycheck is yours to spend. So no, I don't think you're unreasonable at all. Your supervisor seems to be though.

I work at a water park and they hired her from a different facility instead of from ours. Shes never been a supervisor before, just a lead (basically one step above an associate but one step below assistant supervisor and two steps below supervisor). Shes only been in charge of four employees, whereas my department as close to 40. Her expectations are nowhere near where they should be.

Is she by any chance insecure about her leadership skills ?
It looks like she didn't manage to motivate enough people for the event, so to avoid being blamed for that, she made it mandatory. (I could be way off though, just the only reason I could think of)

Anyway, if you just say you can't pay for the event AND still be able to afford food, rent and stuff, there isn't much she can do.

Its just not our department thats going but last week during an all staff meeting only around 10 people said they were planning on going. I live at home and I have no bills. My parents pay for my car insurance, gas, and cell phone. The event is cheap and I can technically afford it, but I really don't want to go. I'm also focusing on getting my credit card debit paid down as much as possible before I go back to school.

But they don't have to know all that ;). And they shouldn't even ask.

Help! I'm working alone today and tomorrow, so no one else is here to know the answer to this. We have 2 Macs at our front desk. Both use a Mighty Mouse. Both of them are saying "connection lost" and I can't fix it! I've tried unplugging, shutting down and restarting, and I even tried new batteries (although I doubt both needed new batteries at the same time!)

I really am not tech savvy, so that's it for my IT skills. I tried googling it, but it all says batteries or battery connections. I've tried all the "fixes" suggested for both those issues. And like I said, I really doubt both of them developed battery issues at the exact same time.

Help... (I'm going home now, but will be back in the morning and need to be able to use these computers!) Anyone know what could be wrong?

Have you tried going to settings and searching for the mouse again? I've had to "find" my mouse again a few times.
