All-Star What Is The Highest Title That You Have Won?

This thread just made me really sad.

I never wanted it to make anyone feel like that! If you notice, I have nothing to contribute either and I am the OP! It was the Facebook yearly photos that had me thinking about it- some many of my friends and or their kids had amazing seasons and I just thought it would be fun to celebrate it

In my first and last (full) year of all-stars my team almost went undefeated... until we got 2nd at UCA. We joked about it saying we were the best all girl team since the winning team was Co-Ed (Small Senior 2). But that season we won grand champs at a competition, Cheersport, CheerPower (which is a big deal for us since it's allllll the local teams and everyone is so good), and a summit bid at cheersport (which we declined) then again at UCA (which we declined again ).

I think one of her team's proudest moments was winning a total of $27k at United Cheer Nationals for grand champs, as Junior 5.
Also, grand champs of the Junior 5 at Champions League.

And she's only junior aged? Wow.

Oldest (now in college) two UCA HS National Champs White Jackets and 7 state championships (3 in MS and 4 HS)
my baby (currently in 10th grade) 1 UCA HS National Champs White Jacket and 3 state championships (MS).....she wants another white jacket this season. Her goal is to have more than her sister.....we'll see

Theorhetically she's in her last year of youth eligibility...lol. But she's been fortunate to be a part of two great programs!

I could probably name a couple of his titles I'm crossing my fingers his jacket collection multiplies this season. And his ring collection grows

ETA: I don't have any cheer awards that are brag worthy... Most of my awards and recognitions are from art competitions.

I'm sure you can name many more than I can.

2nd place to Brandon Small Coed at NCA Nationals 2009
Top 5 at Worlds in 2006 and 2008

My favorite would have to be 1st place NCA College Nationals 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011

My freshman year we were supposed to make it through to Regionals but someone's BACK WALKOVER didn't go over and the penalty kicked us out of top 3 to 7th lol.

One year at cheer camp they picked me to win like the big special award- I have a huge trophy.

And my sophomore and junior year I was 2nd Team Honorable Mention and 2nd Team All District

Ahhh same thing happened to me! We were going to make it to States for the first time, but the girl who we told NOT to do her backhandspring decided to do it anyways, which ended up being a backHEADspring and took us from 2nd to 7th :banghead:

I got sportswoman of the year in cheer for my county this past year, trophies were involved. I was so proud because I beat out all the other senior cheerleaders in the area and my coach nominated me because I was the only person qualified (skills,grades, extracurriculars) and I was honored with the top athletes in our city.

I never won the big one, 3rd place at US finals 2009, my last AS comp was a big one though, and as was 1st MD state championships back in 07 I think? It was before they gave out the fancy jackets they have now, but I was so happy to have that cheap black jacket lol.

And I guess my biggest win was making my college team. I still have a chance to add to this list!

I forgot to mention that I was most improved cheerleader in 9th grade.

I was really bad.

-10th place at UCA nationals my freshman year (JV)...okay okay, it was 10 out of 10 (I still think we should have at least taken 9th since we hit and others dropped but whatever). Kind of a big deal because we're the only team to come home from UCA with a trophy.

-19th our of 40 at Nationals my senior year. We missed moving on by .02 points (insert tears) but it was such a great performance and I love that routine. It's the best our Varsity team has ever placed at UCA.

ETA: we've won many first place/grand champs at other comps but they aren't anything huge like nationals so there's no reason to list them I guess lol

I've gotten second at Cheersport

I've competed at NCA 4 times: the closest I got to winning was getting second by .03...... #stillcrying
And I competed at Worlds this past year [emoji4]

Forgot to mention that I was Athlete of the Month twice during high school... Both times like 1/2 the school said I didn't deserve it because cheerleading "isn't a sport" lol
